APJ Abdul Kalam was a renowned scientist who worked day and night to make his dreams come true. He was a modest man with a highly intelligent mind. He died on July 27, 2015, after he had a cardiac arrest when he was delivering a speech in IIM Shillong. 


He was a man behind the successful testing of missiles and was the main brain behind India's space launch vehicle. He also served as the 11th president of India in 2002. He was honoured with many eminent awards including the Bharat Ratna Award, India's highest civilian honour.
