 Success Story of J.K Rowling

The Famous movie series of Harry Potter was a massive success in terms of movie and is a series of seven fantasy novel by British author J.K Rowling. She worked very hard in order to get her book published and get sold in the market. In 1995, she finished her manuscript for 'Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone'. The book was submitted to twelve publishing houses but was rejected by all of them. 


She kept her patience and continued working in order to get her book published. A year later she was given an advance of 1500 euro by an editor Berry Cunnigham from Bloomsbury, a publishing house in London. The 8-year-old daughter of Bloomsbury chairman, Alice Newton was given the first chapter of the book to review. She loved the book and immediately demanded another chapter. 


Later in the year 1997, Bloomsbury with an initial print of 1000 copies, 500 were distributed to different libraries. After this, she won many awards for her children's novel and became the richest author of all time.
